Monthly or Annual Licensing

The monthly subscription price depends on the number of licensed users per month. The annual subscription price is determined based on the selected user tier, for example:

 

  1. The minimum user tier for Jira and Confluence (annual) is 1-10 users, followed by 11-15 users etc;
  2. The minimum user tier for Jira Service Management (annual) is 1-3 users, followed by 4-5 users etc.

An annual subscription is particularly suitable for organizations whose number of Atlassian product users remains roughly the same over the period.

 

With an annual subscription, Atlassian typically offers a greater discount compared to monthly payments.

 

For an annual subscription, it is also possible to increase or decrease the number of users if needed, with the prepaid period being adjusted accordingly.

Three Product Plans

Standard Plan

The Cloud Standard plan is a typical starting point for starting with Atlassian products. Standard plan products include all basic functionalities, with a maximum file storage of 250 GB.

 

Premium Plan

The Cloud Premium plan includes everything in the Standard plan and more, for example:

 

  1. Plans (previously named Advanced Roadmaps) module in Jira Premium enables high-level planning on Gantt chart;
  2. Jira Service Management Premium includes Assets (previously called Insight) for Asset and CMDB management.
  3. The Confluence Premium includes Confluence Automation and Analytics to name a few.

The Premium plan offers unlimited file storage for the aforementioned products.

 

Enterprise Plan

The Enterprise plan is the highest level of cloud plans designed for large organizations. It includes everything in the Premium plan and more.

 

With the Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence Enterprise plan products, you can create up to 150 sites, allowing for quick and flexible scaling.

 

All mentioned products also include Atlassian Access, which includes features such as SSO and two-factor authentication capability. Furthermore, for Jira products on the Enterprise plan, there is no limit to the number of automation rules.

Data Center Advantages

Annual Payment

The Data Center solution is primarily suitable for large enterprises who need self-hosted solutions.

 

The minimum period for Data Center licenses is 12 months and the lowest-tiers are as follows:

 

  1. Jira Software 1-500 users;
  2. Confluence 1-500 users;
  3. Jira Service Management 1-50 users;
  4. Crowd 1-500 users;
  5. Bitbucket 1-25 users;
  6. Bamboo 1 users.
