Atlassian Marketplace has a great variety of apps that we can help to choose from. Sometimes the add-ons do lot more than we need and it is easier to create a simple API connection instead of subscribing to the app. Or vice versa – the app doesn’t offer what we need.

REST API offers many opportunities to connect with different systems. From well known software like WordPress and Sharepoint to software that is specific to your company.
